Nominate someone for our “Heroes, Fools and Flakes” feature on Sports Nightly. If we use your idea, you’ll win a valuable prize!

Just click on to the link and submit your idea; then listen to Sports Nightly. If you hear your name or e-mail title mentioned, you’re a winner!

Guidelines: Make it topical, and pointed.

If you’re nominating a “hero,” don’t just pick the guy who scored the game-winning touchdown, or a coach you really liked in Little League.

If you’re nominating a “fool,” don’t get personal.

If you’re nominating a “flake,” just remember – it has to be a person, or a situation, that’s a little bit off-the-wall.

Good luck, and have fun!

Former Wildcat QB Derrick Ramsey to Appear on 'Sports Nightly'
Tuesday 08-19-2008 10:46am ET
As a Kentucky Wildcat, Derrick Ramsey led UK to back-to-back incredible seasons.

In 1976, the Cats won seven regular-season games and then trounced North Carolina in the Peach Bowl 21-0, Kentucky's first bowl appearance in 25 years. The thousands of fans who followed the Wildcats to Atlanta set a standard for support since topped at the past two Music City Bowls.
In 1977, Ramsey was under center as the Cats went 10-1, the only loss coming on a sun-baked artificial surface on a blistering-hot day in Waco, Texas, to the Baylor Bears.

Ramsey went on to a professional career that saw him make stops in Oakland, New England and Detroit. He played in a pair of Super Bowls, winning a ring with the Raiders.
Ramsey recently was named Athletics Director at Coppin State University, in Baltimore. He'll join Dick Gabriel on "Sports Nightly," beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The defense, including senior cornerback Shomari Moore, dominated UK's scrimmage on Saturday.
