I'm seeing a lot of stories and accusations of voter fraud and "intimidation". This was, of course, predictable. Both parties have dispatched teams of lawyers to polling stations across the country on a mission to find reasons to sue.

Look, I'm not saying voter fraud doesn't happen. That's why I.D. laws are sensible and obvious.

But the real "frauds" are the people lining up to vote simply beca
use it's a fun little event that makes them feel important. Yet they think the electoral college is where you go to get a political science degree, they think the Secretary of State is the receptionist they talk to when they call the White House public information line, they think Benghazi is the name of a board game, and they own "Meet the Spartans" on DVD. Add on to that the folks who are simply casting their ballot for the dude who promised them the most free stuff, and there you have the real voter fraud issue.

It's like a high school where 80 percent of the kids can't read or add two plus two, but the administration spends all its energy worrying about the 5 or 6 kids who cheated on the last geography test by looking up the answers on their iPhones. Yes, cheating is bad and should be punished. But in a school of illiterates how can you possibly claim the cheaters are undermining an education system that's clearly already failed?

What I'm saying is that it's a little late to change the batteries in the fire detector once the kitchen is already up in flames.

So, yes, there is definitely some voter fraud happening. And then there's also the fundamental ruination of our entire democratic system brought on by ignorace, apathy and legal bribery.

You pick which is the greater concern.
