Well a bunch of internal emails at the State Department prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Obama administration knew the Libya ambassador assassination was a terrorist attack, yet they labeled it a "protest" anyway. This is the part where you should stop being a shameless party loyalist and deal with the reality that the president lied to America about the murder of a diplomat. That's not a partisan perspective, it's just a fact. This isn't the first time a president has lied. Or the first time this particular president has lied, for that matter. But it was a lie. A lie is a lie.
You can call skin cancer a "rash" if you want, but it's still going to kill you if you don't eventually deal with it on reality's terms.
To all Democrats: It's OK to admit it. He's not your daddy. You don't have to defend him. The Democrat party isn't YOUR party. It's their party. They just invite you to it so you can cater the buffet table and work the bar. You're a servant, not a member.
By the way, a quick message to conservatives: if you're trying to explain why Obama lied, or why he's done any of the things he's done, please stop with the "HE HATES AMERICA!!!!" thing. That's as ridiculous and simplistic as the folks on the other side who have faith in him because they think he loves America, or loves the middle class, or loves poor people, or women.
It's OK to think of everything in terms of HATE and LOVE when you're a teenager. But when you go through puberty, get your drivers license, get a job and start a family it's time to develop a more nuanced point of view.
Obama, like most politicians, doesn't hate or love anything or anyone. Hate and love are far too real, too powerful, they require too much of you. They're too human. Politicians empty themselves. Everything they do, everything they say, even the way they walk is a political calculation. They're sociopaths by design. They care about power. That's it. That's their religion, their ideology, their passion, their bride.
They don't hate America or love America for the same reason they don't hate or love you. They want to control you. It's harder to control someone when you have feelings about them one way or another.
Obama lied about Libya because he doesn't want us to realize that his policy of arming the terrorists in that country, displacing their government, murdering their leader and decimating their infrastructure directly resulted in the death of his ambassador. And countless others.
That's the reason. That's the only reason.
